Return and Warranty Policy

When will my item(s) be shipped? When will it arrive?
If your item is available and in stock, orders placed Monday through Friday are shipped out the same day, or the next business day. You will receive an email confirming the shipment with the tracking number once it is shipped. Delivery times take about 5 to 7 business days. All our items are delivered via U.S. Postal Service Express Mail.

Can I check the status of my order? How do I track my shipment?
Once you have placed an order you can check on its status at any time. To check the status log into your account using the email address and password you entered when making the purchase. Your order goes through 4 stages in the delivery process:

  1. New:Your order has been received. You payment information hasn’t been verified yet.
  2. Hold:If we can’t verify you billing address then you order will be placed on hold and will not be processed until you reply to request with an apporiate billing address.
  3. In Process:Your payment and billing information have been verified. Your credit card has been shipped. Your order is now “live”.
  4. Shipped: Your order has been shipped. 

When you receive the email stating your order has been shipped you will receive a tracking number.

What are my payment options? Is my credit card charged immediately?
We accept Visa, MasterCard (credit,debit,giftcards), Discover and American Express (credit and giftcards). We also can accept money orders and personal checks written on an account from the U.S. (this method is slow and can take up to 14 days for the checks to clear).

No. Your credit card isn’t charged immediately. After you enter your credit card information on the check out page you will receive a confirmation email that your order has been received. Next your order is verified by our billing department. After your order has been verified your card will be charged and you will receive an email that your order has been placed “In Process”. 
 
 
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express Credit Cards. You can also pay with money order, western union or personal check provided is written from a U.S. based checking account.

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes. Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount. They are sent via email to any individual with a valid email address. The recipient of a gift certificate will receive an email with a gift certificate code redeemable only on our website.

Do you charge my credit card immediately?
No. Your credit card isn’t charged immediately. After you enter your credit card information on the check out page you will receive a confirmation email that your order has been received. Next your order is verified by our billing department. After your order has been verified you will receive an email that your order has been placed “In Process”. Once the order is ready for shipment your card is charged and your order is shipped

Do I pay tax on my purchase?
No. You only have to pay sales tax in the state we have a physical address. As of now that is only in the state of Minnesota.

Is payment on your website secure?
Yes. Every transaction uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to insure your order is secure. The transmissions between our website’s server and your computer are encrypted by SSL. In addition to SSL encryption we also use a third party company to insure this website is safe from any hackers.

When paying by credit/debit card is the information given verified?
Yes. Every order is reviewed carefully by our billing department. If anything in the order looks suspicious your order will be placed on hold and you will be contacted via email or by phone. As a customer you must use the correct billing address when filling out the order form. If the address you enter doesn’t match the information that your bank has on file then the order will be placed on hold. These strict requirements are required by our credit card processor.

I want to order a gift for someone else. Can I ship the item to an address different then my billing address?
Yes. But you must indicate this in the order comments area when you checking out. When entering your billing information make sure you enter the correct billing address. Enter the recipient’s address in the shipping address.

Can I change or cancel my order?
All orders placed through the website are firm, once you have completed the checkout process. If you need to make changes we will try our best to accommodate your requests if you contact us within 24 hours of making your purchase. Please keep in mind, our system is designed to fulfill orders as soon as we receive them. Therefore, we can’t cancel or change and order once it has been shipped.

Can I order if I live outside of the U.S.?
Yes. Direct Inventory ships world-wide. We accept orders from most countries around the world. In the normal process of fraud protection we make ask you for additional information to verify your order.

What are your shipping fees?
Unless we are running a free or discounted shipping promotion, shipping fees are a flat $20 per item. We charge a flat fee because the products are express mailed from Asia. The shipping costs are actually higher than $20 per item, but Direct Inventory pays the difference. 

Do you ship to locations outside of the U.S.?
Yes. We are happy to take orders for international shipment. Total shipping charges are automatically computed during checking out, prior to the completion of your order. All international orders are sent via UPS. Most deliveries to Europe will arrive within 5 to 7 business days after being sent. Shipments to Asia arrive within 7 days. All additional taxes, fees, tariffs and import fees levied by destination countries are the responsibility of the customer. Direct Inventory cannot determine the amount in advance, if any, that will be charges. UPS assumes responsibility for such charges and bills the recipient accordingly.
If you refuse to pay custom’s charges it will be returned at our expense. We will then deduct that charge, as well as any additional custom charges, from the refund of the original purchase price.

Can you ship to PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses?
Yes. We may contact you to verify your order via email or by phone. Your order will not be processed until we are able to verify your billing information.

Do I have to be present to receive the package?
No. The postal carrier will leave a notice for you informing you that an attempt was made to deliver your package. The notice will give you information on how to retrieve your package. As the recipient, make sure the delivery location is secure or you leave instructions for the mail carrier to leave your package at the post office.

What is your return policy?
We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects. If any such defects appear we will accept any defective item for refund or exchange. New, unused or defective merchandise may be returned within 7 days of receiving the merchandise for an exchange or refund. We will only refund shipping charges if we sent the wrong item or the item was defective. If you are making exchanges because you would like a different size, style or color, you will be charged for shipping on your exchange. The return/exchange value is determined by the last retail price of the item. Due to security constraints, we cannot reimburse you for an amount greater than your purchase amount.

Returns are up to the discretion of Direct Inventory and are accepted providing the item is returned in its original condition.

How should I ship my return?
Insure your package for the full value of the merchandise and return it to us using the delivery service of your choice. For speed and security, we recommend US Postal Service, UPS or FedEx.

When will my credit card be refunded?
Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 3-5 business days. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment.

What is your warranty policy?
The products that are purchased from Direct Inventory are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects. If such defects become present within the first seven of receipt we will exchange your product for a new item. This warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear.
